Flicker is a mindfulness and productivity application designed to help users visualize their life journey and track personal goals. Developed by zayandev, Flicker is built with a "privacy-by-design" approach, operating entirely offline on your device without collecting or transmitting your personal data to external servers.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Flicker does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal identity information with the developer or any third parties. This includes:

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Real-time location data (GPS)
• Device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID, Advertising ID)
• Browser history or network traffic information
• Financial records or payment methods

The app does not require account registration, and we have no way of identifying who you are.

3. Local Data Stored on Your Device

To provide its core functionality, Flicker processes specific information that you provide. This data is stored strictly in a local database (Room) on your mobile device.

This includes:

• Birth Date & Life Expectancy: Used solely to generate your "Life Calendar" visualization.
• Goal Details: Titles, categories, and target dates for the goals you create.
• App Preferences: Your theme settings and configuration choices.

This data is not accessible to the developer, is never uploaded to a cloud, and is permanently deleted if you clear the app data or uninstall the application.

4. Permissions

Flicker is designed to be lightweight and non-intrusive. It does not request sensitive Android permissions such as:

• Camera or Microphone access
• Contacts or Call logs
• Precise Location
• External File Storage (Photos/Media)

Standard system permissions may be used to provide home screen widgets or to ensure the app functions correctly after a device reboot.

5. Third-Party Services

Flicker is a clean, ad-free experience. The app does not use:

• Advertising SDKs or tracking networks
• External Analytics (such as Google Analytics or Firebase)
• Cloud synchronization services
• Social media integrations

6. Children's Privacy

Flicker is suitable for all ages and does not contain age-restricted content. Since the app does not collect any personal information or transmit data online, it is fully compliant with privacy standards regarding children.

7. Data Security

Your data’s security is as strong as your device's security. Because your life calendar and goals are stored locally, they are protected by Android’s built-in sandbox environment, which prevents other apps from accessing Flicker's data. We recommend using a secure screen lock on your device.

8. International Data Transfers

Flicker does not perform any data transfers. Your information never leaves your physical device, meaning no international data processing occurs.

9. User Control

You maintain absolute control over your data:

• Edit/Delete: You can modify or delete your birth date and individual goals at any time within the app settings.
• Reset: Clearing the app cache/data in Android Settings will wipe all stored information.
• Removal: Uninstalling the app removes all data associated with Flicker.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy if new features are added. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.
